I was looking to book a room in Los Angeles for New Years Eve. Oddly enough while I was searching Google for hotels I get an offer for 25% off qualifying dates as a Hilton Honors member.

I clicked the link logged in and bingo there was a hotel with my dates advertised as qualifying for the 25% discount.

I booked it…..then I get another email instantly from Hotels.com stating we have the cheapest rates for Los Angeles hotels……Hmmm does Google let everyone read what we are doing all the time? Anyway i decided to check it out and much to my surprise it was cheaper. Wait a minute Hilton’s website offers “Best Rate Guaranteed” if you book the same room, same people, same night…blah blah.

Is Hilton a honorable hotel chain???????

I thought it would be easy to get corrected, so I called. WOW!!!! Talk about arrogant rude customer service. They were of ZERO help! Actually told me just cancel your room if you are not happy. Is this customer service????

NOPE!!!!!!! Okay so I was directed to complete an on line price match guarantee.

Results….. after waiting and wondering if I should book the hotel on hotels.com were denied! Ha Ha Ha

This is NOT an exact match……..we gave you $10.00 in store credit per day and Hotels.com doesn’t offer that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #BOOM

No mention of the original 25% off that they offered me as a Hilton Honors club member. 

SHAME on you Hilton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
